The Lady Hawks golf team traveled to Jasper and took part in the Wildcat Invitational today at Buffalo Trace. The Lady Hawks finished 4th out of the seven teams taking part. Jasper walked away the winners shooting a team score 387. Brown County was 2nd (439), Southridge (442) edged the Lady Hawks (443) for 3rd by one stroke. Other teams at the invitational were Crawford County(462), Forest Park (466) and North Harrison (545).
Lady Hawk Keisha Bennett had the over all low score at the Invitational and took medalists honors by shooting an 83. Keisha was followed by Jasper’s Elizabeth Ackerman (90) in 2nd and Southridge’s Baileigh Schneider (92) was 3rd for the individual honors.
Others scores for the Lady Hawks were Kyla Tarr 107 and tied for 9th over all. Kelly Sammons shot a 122 and tied for 21st. Macy Hall had a 131 and Kyliegh Marshall a 136. Both Macy and Kyliegh participated in their first varsity 18 hole meet.
